Surging Spain still will go all-out vs Saudi Arabia

Spain are already through to the next round of the World Cup, but may want to secure their top spot with a good result against Saudi Arabia, who have a small chance to qualify themselves.

The Saudis will need a win over the Spanish, and then depend on the match between Ukraine and Tunisia. Captain Sami Al Jaber, who came on as a substitute in the previous two games, may now form part of the starting line-up for what is likely to be his last international match.

Spain coach Luis Aragonés is expected to make several changes in order to rest his star players ahead of their round of sixteen match. The team's top scorer Fernando Torres will stay on the bench, as well as goalkeeper Iker Casillas and several defenders including Carles Puyol.

Saudi Arabia reached the second round once, back in 1994. The finished second in the group thanks to a win over the Belgians. After a famous solo, Al Owairan scored the only goal of that match. In 2002, Spain's position after two matches was similar to their current situation, after wins over Paraguay and South Africa. They would also win the third match against Slovenia.

Probable line-ups:

Saudi Arabia: Al Deayea, Dokhi, Sulaimani, Al Montashari, Tuker, Al Khariri, Al Ghamdi, Noor, Al Jaber, Al Thaker, Al Qahtani.

Spain: Canizares, Salgado, Juanito, Marchena, Lopez, Albelda, Iniesta, Fabregas, Joaquin, Reyes, Raul.
