World Cup Betting Preview: Ghana try to stay alive vs Czech Republic

The Czech Republic were one of the strongest teams in the opening round of matches, and now face Ghana who need points in order to stay in the race for the next round. The Czechs beat the United States 3-0 with goals from Jan Koller and Tomas Rosicky, but suffered a blow

when Koller suffered an injury before half time.

The striker's injury was not as bad as expected but should still not be expected to play before the quarter finals, if the Czechs make it to that stage. Lokvenc is expected to replace the tall forward, as Milan Baros is still struggling with a foot injury. Ghana's line-up is not expected to change, in comparison to their first match against Italy, which was lost 2-0.

Head to head:

There have been no previous meetings between these two sides.

Probable line-ups:

Czech Republic: Cech, Grygera, Jankulovski, Rozehnal, Ujfalusi, Galasek, Nedved, Poborsky, Rosicky, Plasil, Lokvenc.

Ghana: Kingston, Paintsil, Kuffour, Mensah, Pappoe, Muntari, Essien, Appiah, Addo, Gyan, Amoah.
