World Cup Preview: Togo vs Switzerland Fixed Betting Odds
Togo are the only team at the World Cup, other than the hosts, with a German coach. Togo officials say a pay dispute among the squad has been resolved but refuse to give details. The players say they will take the field even if they do not get their money. Coach Otto Pfister, who quit last week over the pay row before returning for the first game, should be in charge for the West Africans.
Swiss coach Koebi Kuhn is likely to stick with the lineup that started against France, giving striker Marco Streller a second chance after a lacklustre performance in the 0-0 draw. Kuhn will be hoping his midfield create a lot more chances against Togo than they did against France.
Togo's Ludovic Assemoassa tore ligaments in his right knee in the first match against South Korea and will miss the rest of the tournament. Swiss right back Valon Behrami is set to miss out on Monday and possibly the rest of the finals after failing to recover from a groin injury.
